Burdekin Grower Race Day
One of the regions premier social events supported by more than 4000 people across the state, all celebrating horse racing and fashion. There are mega prize draws, super bets and a five event local horse racing program. The local farming community contributes with boxes of fresh fruit and vegetables to give away. There is live entertainment after the race meeting until late into the night.
Northern Insurance Solutions is happy to be a part of this event by sponsoring the “Northern Insurance Solutions 1180m Maiden Plate” running at 2.33pm so back a winning insurance company!
Burdekin Touch Football Mixed Touch Competition.

The Golf Classic, hosted in the heart of the Burdekin region, is a nine-hole Ambrose competition that welcomes teams of four to take part in a fun-filled day while supporting a vital cause.
Funds raised from the event are donated to CORES (Community Response to Eliminate Suicide), a local organisation dedicated to suicide prevention.
